It was a true honor to be involved in discussions and think tank sessions with John Pistole, former administrator of the United States Transportation Security Administration and a former deputy director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The invitation only CREATE-TSA Symposium on June 27-28, 2017 was held at the University of Southern California (USC). The USC Center for Risk and Economic Analysis of Terrorism Events (CREATE) and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) came together for a two-day symposium to examine Innovations in Transportation Security.

Numerous relevant topics including Public Response to Crisis, Deterrence: Demotivating Terrorism, Cyber Security Threats to Transportation and Recent Airport Attacks: Lessons Learned.
